CWC Submissions

The CWC today published its submission on the review of the Employment Regulation Orders, arguing that individuals and families surviving on low incomes are already coping with the impact of disproportionate cuts to their income. Under the guise of increasing competitiveness, Government policy seems intent on lowering standards of pay, particularly for those in the lowest income brackets. To view please click here

The CWC addressed the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affiars on the theme The Challenge of Sustaining Community Development in the Present Economic Downturn on December 2nd 2009.
